The International Handball Federation (IHF) have announced that Poland, Sweden and Denmark will host its three men's qualifying tournaments for the Rio 2016 Olympics.

The three events in Europe will offer countries who haven't already booked their place in Brazil a final opportunity to confirm their spot, with four teams competing in each tournament.

Hosts Poland will be joined by Macedonia, Chile and Tunisia in Gdansk, with clashes to be played in the Ergo Arena in the coastal city.

The six best ranked countries from the 2015 World Championship in Qatar who had not already qualified have been entered into the qualifying events, with Poland earning their spot after finishing third.

Macedonia, meanwhile, did enough for a second chance by finishing ninth in Qatar, while Chile and Tunisia qualified by finishing third in the Americas Championship and second in the African Championship respectively.
