A total of 20 events are set to feature at July's International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics Grand Prix Final in London have been confirmed.

Four men’s 100m races are due to take place at the one day event, held in the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, while the women’s T38 and T43/44 100m races will also feature.

The event, due to take place on the final day of the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games, on July 26, will also see three 200m and two 400m races, in addition to a women’s T33/T34 800m and a men’s and a women’s race in the T53/54 1500m category.

Field events will consist of discus competitions for the men’s F42/43/44 and F56/57 classifications, a F32/51 club throw and a F20 shot put event for women, while F42/43/44 long jump competitions will take place for both sexes.

Held as part of the UK Sport’s Road to Rio campaign, the Grand Prix Final will also coincide with Britian’s National Paralympic Day, with head of IPC athletics Ryan Montgomery insisting the event will be “as thrilling as ever”.

"These 20 events are bursting with talented  Para-athletes; world and Paralympic champions that will excel at such an iconic venue - indeed the stadium where so many remarkable memories were made at the London Games in 2012,” he said.

"For the fans who come to watch, there is something for everyone too - be it sprints, longer distance races, jumps or throws.

"It's important that we take every opportunity to showcase the diverse track and field talent international para-athletics has to offer, and I'm delighted that the IPC Athletics Grand Prix Final will do just that."

Around 150 Para-athletes are expected to compete in the final event of the 10-event 2015 Grand Prix series, which began at Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates in February.

The Grand Prix final will serve as the last major meeting before the IPC Athletics World Championship are set to take place in Doha, Qatar, from October 22 to 31.
