Brazil came into the match in good spirits after a morale boosting win over London 2012 Paralympic champions Canada and were aiming to improve upon their display in their first match of the tournament against the US, which saw them lose 81-57.

Luciano Da Silva, who was the top-scorer in the victory over Canada, was among the star performers again for Brazil scoring 19 points as they gave the Americans a scare.

However, the US team were able to secure a narrow 82-76 win, with top scorer in the contest Jared Arambula, who earned 20 points, proving the difference in the final minutes.

Canada bounced back from their loss to Brazil with their second win over Argentina at the tournament, which is serving as a warm-up event ahead of the Parapan American Games in Toronto later this year.

Adam Lancia and David Eng scored 21 and 19 points respectively to help the hosts on their way to the 76-58 triumph over Argentina and their third win of the competition.

The final day of the tournament will see Canada hoping to end the US team's unbeaten record when they meet, while Brazil will hope to claim the bragging rights over Argentina when the two South American rivals go head to head.
