Belarus has unveiled a special "Medallists of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi" stamp collection ©Belarus NOCBelposhta, the Belarus post, has revealed a series of stamps featuring the nation's Sochi 2014 Olympic medallists as well as a special souvenir sheet featuring triple gold medallist Darya Domracheva, who has been dubbed the "Hero of Belarus".

Biathlete champion Domracheva, who also secured individual bronze at the Vancouver 2010 Games, helped to ensure Belarus finished eighth on the Sochi medal table by claiming three of the country's five gold medals.

The other two golds came from freestyle skiers Anton Kushnir and Alla Tsuper, with the nation's bronze medal coming from biathlete Nadezhda Skardino.

All three feature on the commemorative "Medal winners of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi" stamps.

The collectors' items were unveiled at a special ceremony that was attended by Kushnir, Belarus Olympic Committee first vice-president Igor Rachkovskiy and secretary general George Katulin, freestyle skiing head coach Mikalai Kazeka and biathlon head coach Andrian Tsyybulski.

"I like this stamp with my picture and the project," Kushnir said.

"It's very beautiful, high quality and we can see that everyone involved in this project has put their heart and soul into it.

"I will send stamps to my parents and friends."
