The National Coaching Programme saw 22 people learning under the guidance of four instructors ©Bahrain Olympic CommitteeTwenty-two coaches have completed a National Coaching Programme course organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee's Sports Training and Development Section

The course, run with the help of the Coaching Association of Canada, was made up of seven key areas and was held at the Sports Training and Development Section offices in Juffair.

It aimed to develop the coaches and "enrich the training process [of] different sports disciplines in the kingdom".

Twenty of the coaches live in Bahrain, while two are from Saudi Arabia.

The course was run by a team of experienced instructors - Nabeel Taha, Dr Hussain Jaffer, Mahmood Yateem and Ali Al Anzoor.

Taha, who is also head of the Sports Training and Development Section, thanked Chevron Bahrain and McDonald's for their "continued support and backing to the National Coaching Programme".
