The series of conferences, which debuted in May, were designed to bring together sports theory and practice, while combining a range of individual sports disciplines.

This second conference saw former football manager Gerard Houllier and beach volleyball coach Simon Nausch share their expertise and experience with a wide range of top flight coaches from both team and individual sports.

Nausch is coach of one of the best beach volleyball pairs in the world - Markéta Slukova and Kristýna Kolocova.

He revealed at the conference what it takes to break onto the international scene and discussed the complications involved in training a small team of athletes.

Nausch was joined in his talk by both Slukova and Kolocova as they gave their own personal experiences in training to become the one of the best beach volleyball pairs in the world.

Houllier is one of the world's most renowned football coaches having managed the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Lyon, as well as the French national team. 

During the conference, the Frenchman delivered a speech on his recipe for success for creating a winning team.

The inaugural "Bridges" conference was held in May and brought together eight-time grand slam winner Ivan Lendl, and sports psychologist Bill Beswick to talk to a series of trainers and coaches in the Czech Republic.
