Polish Olympic Committee (POC) President Andrzej Kraśnicki headed the visiting delegation, which also included secretary general Adam Krzesiński and the COC's chief of Olympic and international relations Marzenna Koszewska.

They met with COC President Jiří Kejval over the course of the two-day visit, which saw an exchange of ideas on the promotion of the Olympic Movement in both countries.

On the second day of the visit, Kejval and Kraśnicki signed the MoC between both organisations which will see greater cooperation in exchanging experience and knowledge in Olympic sports along with the fight against doping, promotion of fair play, the development of mass sports, culture and Olympic education, sports medicine and environmental protection.

There will also be a focus on developing relations with the International Olympic Committee, European Olympic Committees, the Association of National Olympic Committees and International Federations.

"It is a sign that the desire to find the best way to promote a healthy lifestyle transcends national boundaries," said  Kejval, who was invited by Kraśnicki to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the POC later this year.

Koszewska added: "We have taken another step in sports diplomacy in which Olympic Committees have shown a willingness to work together.

"After the visit of the British Olympic Association, Prague has welcomed another strong national committee, and other visits are in the pipeline."
