Mexican Olympic Committee logoFebruary 26 - The Mexican Olympic Committee (COM) has signed an agreement with sportswear company Joma for them to provide sponsorship, along with kit and equipment, for several sports at Rio 2016, it has been announced. 


Revenue from the Joma deal will also be used to provide funding for Mexican athletes competing at this year's Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz in November and next year's Pan American Games in Toronto.  

The sports to benefit from the new deal include athletics, archery, badminton, baseball, basketball, bowling, cycling, golf, gymnastics, handball, hockey, racquetball, rugby union, skating, squash, softball, table tennis, tennis and volleyball.
