April 11 - Dumfries has been confirmed to host the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship and World Senior Men's and Women's Curling Championships in 2014, just days after the World Curling Federation (WCF) named another Scottish city, the capital Edinburgh, as host of the 2013 European Mixed Curling Championship.
